One model, three plans: the per-clip math
Credit cost depends on the model you pick. Take Seedance 2.5 at 720p for 5 seconds, which Pika prices at 122 credits:
- Starter: 900 ÷ 122 ≈ 7.4 clips. $10 ÷ 7.4 ≈ $1.35 per clip ($1.08 on annual billing).
- Creator: 3,150 ÷ 122 ≈ 25.8 clips. $35 ÷ 25.8 ≈ $1.36 per clip ($1.09 annual).
- Fancy: 8,550 ÷ 122 ≈ 70 clips. $95 ÷ 70 ≈ $1.36 per clip.
Notice that the per-clip price barely moves between tiers for this model. The bigger plans buy volume and commercial rights, not a much lower unit price. Cheaper models on Pika will cost fewer credits, and premium ones more, so repeat this division for the model you actually plan to use.

Three buyer profiles
The steady commercial creator. You publish daily and need commercial rights on a proprietary model. Creator or Fancy is built for you, and annual billing trims the unit price to about $1.09 for the example above.
The occasional maker. You need eight clips for a launch, then nothing for two months. Starter would cost $30 over those three months for roughly 22 clips of which you use eight, about $3.75 per used clip. A $20 top-up here covers the launch with 12 videos left, and unlike Pika top-ups they have no 365-day limit.
